embroidered button buttons
My contribution to greetingart's embroidered button swap. I think my idea was better than my execution on these. It's really hard to embroider a perfect circle and then center it perfectly on a button blank. Oh well. They still turned out pretty cute.

I packaged them sewed to fabric fused to card stock and cut with pinking shears.

I think they turned out *very* well, what a neat idea. Can't wait to see those in person! Great packaging, too, by the way.

They're so cute! And the packaging! I just threw mine in a ziplock and now I feel really bad. I haven't mailed them yet - maybe I'll go dig them out.

Very, very cute presentation. Good job! I just finished up mine and am sending tomorrow. Now you make me want to package them better. Oh, well, I have to let them go as is. I put them here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/calicodaisy/.

Oh my gawd, the buttons are beautiful! That is so crazy cool, and must have been very time consuming. I love it! Thanks for such a cool site, PattieWack

They're fabulous! Here's a trick I use to help center fabric on those button blanks - spray the back of your fabric with a little 505 or other temporary spray adhesive. It keeps the fabric from moving around when you attach the other half.
