Partridge and Fish

Hello - Becket again. I was on a brief sewing kick where I was making stuffed animals. People kept asking "who are you making them for?" I had no good answer - I just had this inexplicable need to make stuffed animals!! So, I decided to post my two favorities: the partridge and the fish. The eye of the partridge is actually an extra button from an item of clothing from Anthropologie - it's that perfect shade of green that is between mint and kelly. The tail of the fish is composed of layers of felt - that became almost impossible to turn inside out when I was ready to stuff it. At the moment, these little creatures sit on my craft desk next to the sewing machine - just keeping me company!

I get the "who are you making that for question alot." Can't you just make something to see if you can make it or make it better than something you've seen online or in a store. I love the fish.

I hear you on the inexplicable need to make stuffed animals. I've got it bad and I don't think it's ever going away.

I perfectly understand - little pictures get in my head and I have to get them out. Lovely bird and fish.

Random acts of sewing: that's the way to go! I think they look very sweet.
