button necklaces

Two necklaces, made the same way but with different buttons. I think the white one is more casual and would look good with a tshirt. I didn't have as many different sizes of the shell buttons, so it's not quite as nice of a curve, but the shell makes it really pretty, I think, plus I put a real chain on it.

And look at the shell button bracelet and necklace that Creative Kismet made, plus a tutorial, even!

The transparent buttons look really cool. You could create a lot of neat effects by layering different colors of transparent buttons.

My Nanna made me a lovely button necklace a while back. It was very cute and nannaish. I wore it to the school where I teach and the trendy little teenage girls thought it was great and so made some of their own. When I told my nanna, who is in her late 70's, that she had started a little teen craze at my school she was very chuffed. Nannas rock.

Those are lovely. My Aunt used to make the dearest button holders out of Ivory Snow container. Adorable little delights they were. I would like to experiment with making a pair of button slacks using your precious design.

THANKS!!!

What an original idea. I love the look. I think I like the chain best. They are quite lovely.

I like the second one best. Ant it matches the background colour.

I have been on line looking and looking for this pattern. There is one where buttons go all around to the back of the neck, that's what I'd love. Do you know of any books that would have these patterns? I've spent so much time looking.
Thank you so much, Mary-Alice
