* bits and bobs embroidery
Posted on April 17th, 2006 by maitreya. Filed under Cross Stitch/Embroidery.
There is some debate in the house about whether my cursive writing is legible, so I might redo that part. I seem to recall having trouble with lower case b’s when I was in second grade, too.

I’m so relieved these are turning out more or less how I imagined. I think one reason I procrastinated so long was that I was really worried it wouldn’t work.

What do you use to do the embroidering ? They are awesome!! When I try to do it with a simple needle and thread - they never turn out even looking close to what I want them to look like :)) Thanks!

just a weird thing: you have bits and bobs on your page today, and then i read neil gaiman’s journal, and the title for his journal entry of the day is “bits and bobs”. odd!
i was never any good at cursive either. i think the fact that we weren’t required to write it after like second grade when we learned it might have something to do with that.
