I’m always on the lookout for great pixel art for cross stitching. There are a bunch of examples of patchwork or cross stitch or knitted Nintendo/C64 art on Craftster and Craftgrrl.

I started a George Michael (circa Faith) cross stitch from the Flip Flop Flyin minipops. There are so many minipops that I had a really hard time choosing. Today I found some little sushi icons from Little Drawings. I gotta think up something to use them for. Then of course, there are the Meomi characters for when I need to stitch something cute. Background designs for websites and such would also make neat patterns. Squidfingers and Kaliber10000 are two of my favorites.
