* Ideas Para Tu Hogar

Found a neat magazine that my library subscribes to: Ideas Para Tu Hogar. Unfortunately, there’s not an awful lot on their website. It’s kind of a Spanish-language Martha Stewart. Lots of pictures and craft projects. I plan on browsing more of their backissues the next time I’m at the library.

    Hi,
    I was just searching the web for knitting resources in Spanish, and your post came up in the google search. It looks like a cool magazing and I’m going to take a look, however I’m wondering if you know where else to look for books or patterns (on the web or off) in Spanish. I’m a native English speaker myself, however I’ve started teaching knitting to the ladies at my husband’s church and they predominantly speak Spanish. I’ve seen the vocabulary guides and the excellent online tutorial from lionbrand.com but I’m hoping to find a book to take the women to the next level. If you know of anything, I’d love to hear about it.
    Take care, Bev

    Hi Bev, sorry I can’t point you in the right direction. My foreign langauge wanderings have been mainly Japanese sites. The Para Tu Hogar magazine has all sorts of patterns and directions for lots of different types of crafts. You may be able to find good websites from some of the ads in it, too. Good luck!
