The Encyclopedia of Embroidery Techniques
Pauline Brown's Encyclopedia of Embroidery Techniques is a good book for your library to have. I'll probably check it out again if I ever get serious about doing that embroidered picture I want to do one day. The books has pretty good diagrams and illustrations of a zillion different techniques. I liked the finished embroidery pictures, which are collected into a gallery chapter and scattered throughout the book as examples of using the different stitches. There's a lot of inspiration in these pictures.Posted under Crafty Book/TV Review at January 3, 2004 05:23 PM
